Hi All,

What a wonderful meeting last week!  Great speaker - Connie Anderson presenting on her project interviewing polio survivors and resulting book ..."When Polio Came Home: How Ordinary People Overcame Extraordinary Challenges"; we also welcomed special guests including three past Rotary exchange students!
Congratulations to Gary Laurent for achieving his Paul Harris +5 Award.  His lovely wife Tammy was on hand to accept the award on Gsry's behalf from Art Quinn.  Big thank you to the club for your contributions to The Rotary Foundation, making it possible for us to achieve our goal of $10,500 in donations this year!

This week we welcome Jon Dobberstein, presenting on GOLF - golf equipment and club test. This is a perfect meeting to learn how to perfect your summer golf swing.  Charlie Sunder, Bob Greeley, and Jeff Tate return as greeters to welcome you and your guest.  Joe Helkamp takes a turn as song master (FYI: Joe Schmidt should be fined for last week's "da, da, da, da" song :-) ).  And Jon McBroom will ply dollars cash from our pockets as fine master.

Next week (June 30), we meet at Arizona's for the transfer of presidency and board installation.  As I end my presidential year, I am humbled by the fantastic support and guidance you gave to me so generously.  My board worked diligently and loyally to make this year go by so smoothly; they made me look good!  My sincere thanks to you all.
