Happy Monday to Everyone,

This is the second attempt for the Weekly Update. I had written one earlier and when I hit the "send" button, ClubRunner said there was a delay in sending it out. Guess what, it disappeared, so I will hastily put another update together.

Thanks for attending last week's meeting. Kate O'Hair presented on wind energy in Minnesota and the changing landscape of renewable energy nationwide, It was very informative. Shakopee is pretty unique, we have the Rahr Malting biomass facility, the Blue Lake solar array, the SPU and SMSC wind turbines all generating energy in and around our community.

It was wonderful working with all our volunteers at Loaves and Fishes on Tuesday. Check out the Shakopee Rotary website for some photos of your favorite Rotarians in aprons and hair nets. Thanks to Lorri Helkamp for all she does for our Club and this organization.

This week our speaker is Suzy Kukakski. She will motivate us in "Using Our Talents". Please plan on attending and making Suzy welcomed.

Tomorrow's Meeting:
Song Master - Rose Hullett
Fine Master - Kathy Klehr
Greeter's Table - Alan Spillers, Kevin Studnicka and Charlie Sunder

Next week is Shakopee Celebrates Reading.

Thanks to every Club Member that helps us in continuing to make our Club all that it can be and that so positively contributes to our community, as well as projects around the world. Pat yourselves on the back, you deserve it.

Hope to see everyone tomorrow,
John
