Good Saturday Morning to all our Club Members, Families and Friends,

What a beautiful day. It's warm, sunny and so relaxing. I've spent some time in the garden this morning and noticed that I will probably start the mowing season this week. Does it get much better than the smell of fresh cut grass, birds singing and hearing kids playing in the neighborhood.

Speaking of children, what a great week for Rotary. Shakopee Celebrates Reading is one of our Club's core events and one that every Club member looks forward to. Thanks to everyone who planned and volunteered for the event. Please visit our webpage to view photos from Tuesday. Also please take the time to read the postings from Past President Yvonne Anderson and former member Angie Whitcomb. It will certainly put a smile on your face. Thanks again everyone.

REMINDER - If you have not already, Please sign up for our District Conference. It will be held May 12 - 13 at Mystic Lake. Our Past District Governor Tammy Laurent has worked very hard in setting up wonderful speakers and presentations for this event "right in our backyard". Please plan on attending. Let me  know if you need further information.

At our Spring Auction at the April 26 meeting, we will be auctioning golf foursomes for three different fantastic Golf Play Days. The following events are:
20th Campus Anniversary Tee One For Care for the Saints Healthcare Foundation - Thursday June 16 at Stonebrooke Golf Club
Dollars For Scholars 11th Annual Golf Outing -  Friday June 24 at Creek's Bend Golf Course
SACS Golf Tournament - Sunday June 12 at Creek's Bend Golf Course

Please support the outstanding organizations and help out our Club by bidding early, often and in high amounts. Jim and Lee expect these events to quite popular among our members. Plan on attending our auction at our April 26 luncheon meeting.

At our meeting next week, Scott O'Brien will provide a wonderful look at the brand new and very popular O'Brien's Public House. If you have not been there, it is quite an addition to the Shakopee dining scene as well as a great place to meet with friends and enjoy their long list of libations. Please plan on attending and welcoming Scott to out Club. See you there!

Next meeting:
Song Master - Bill Nevin
Fine Master - John Crooks
Greeter's table - Jeff Tate, Lou VanHout and Joe Vaughan

I hope everyone has a perfect weekend with family and friends. Get outside and see what a beautiful Spring Day has to offer you. Thanks for all that each of you do to make our community and world a little bit better each week. It adds up in really making a difference. Thanks.

John
