Good Morning to Everyone,

Summer has begun and what a wonderful time of year in Minnesota. Being outside, sharing times with family and our long days seem to keep people more upbeat than wintertime. Take advantage and  take some time away from your career and enjoy life and all it has to offer. Summertime can be fleeting...slow down and take time to enjoy.

Thanks to Barb Danielson for filling in for me as I was called for jury selection on Tuesday. I heard she did great for her first time leading the meeting. Its good practice for next year. Thanks Barb.

John Bezek also had the opportunity to bring our Club up-to-date on the Shakopee School System and the work on Vaughan Field and the High School expansion. The upcoming school year will be as busy as ever. Thanks John for all you do to make this a great School District. Art Quinn also had time during our meeting to honor a few more Paul Harris Fellows. Please consider becoming a Paul Harris Fellow or even better, join the Paul Harris Society...it's a good thing to do.

At our next meeting on June 28, I will again bring the Club up-to-date on our Goals and Vision for the upcoming Rotary year and discuss a couple of outstanding opportunities our Club has been presented with. Please plan on attending and provide feedback on where you think our Club stands today and how we see ourselves in the next 3-5 years. I hope everyone joins in and helps lead our Club in the direction of being stronger, more visible and remaining a significant partner in our Community as its grows and prospers.

Next Meeting:
Song Master - Lou VanHout
Fine Master - John Crooks
Greeter's Table - Kathy Busch, Art Quinn and Harold Armstrong

Remember, Life is Good...take advantage of it.

John
