Happy Friday Afternoon,

I am in the office looking out the window and wondering when the winter storm will arrive. It sure looks like it could begin at any moment. Being a "snow lover" it is never enough, but this -20 below stuff is another matter. I hope every one has most of their Holiday shopping finished so they don't have to venture out this weekend. Well guess what...I have not even started yet, so you know what I am going to be doing tomorrow.

Last night was an absolutely wonderful Rotary Holiday Party at the McNeill's. Great food, cold drinks and fantastic people. The highlight was when Cherynn received her Shakopee High School jacket. It was pretty evident that she really, really liked it. Thanks to everyone who was able to attend and especially Sheila and Mark for inviting us to their beautiful home.

It has been a long time since we have had a luncheon meeting, but one is planned for next Tuesday, December 20th. Our Speaker will be Dr. Ilo Leppick from the University of Minnesota, who will educate us on medical cannabis and its impact on patients using this new type of treatment. Let's all plan on attending and welcoming our speaker to our Club....and no, there will not be samples available.

Stay warm and be careful shoveling snow this weekend. See you Tuesday,
John
