Shakopee Rotary - Weekly Update
Hello Shakopee Rotary!
I want to say thank you to Emma Udbye for the opportunity to have her as a part of our Rotary club over the past 12 months. It’s been an absolute pleasure to get to know her and for her to share her experiences with us while living here in Shakopee. I also want to thank the host families for taking Emma in, and sharing providing her with all of the wonderful experiences that you shared with her!
This week we welcome our very own Ron Smith, who will be sharing with us his program on the AMOAF School Musical Instrument Program!
Save the Date: Reminder to save the date of September 22nd, 2011, which will hold our upcoming Harlem Ambassador Fund-raising event!!!
Board Meeting: Reminder that the June board meeting has changed (again) to Tuesday, June 14th @ 11:00AM at Dangerfields.
Here are a some up coming dates to keep in mind.
1. June 14th: Twins Game. Bus leaves at 5:00PM at Dangerfields. $25 per person. See Kathy Klehr with questions.
2. June 21st: President Exit Meeting – Rob Deuth (Dangerfields)
3. June 28th: District Governor Installation Program (Canterbury Inn)
4. July 5th: Program TBD (Dangerfields)
5. July 12th: State of the City – May John J. Schmidt (Dangerfields)
6. July 19th: Shakopee High School “Gateway to Engineering” – T.J. Hendrickson (Dangerfields)
7. July 26th: Rotary Outbound Exchange Experience in Finland - Emma Ruthenbeck (Dangerfields)
